Thank you for visiting my website. A little about me… I was born and raised in Australia in 1969, and in my twenties, I married and moved to the US, where I’ve lived for 17 years and currently reside  with my husband and teens.  As a child, and growing up, creativity has always been encouraged from my parents and siblings who all have a background in the Arts, and as a result , art has always been a part of my life -commercial floral design,  the art framing industry and now artist.

  Partly self taught and with some informal art classes over the years- and like many artists, I am always trying out different styles and techniques.  My subject matter and style is influenced by my love of nature and the elements with a representational, bold use of colour -emphasizing the subject at hand. 
My favourite Master Artists are -JohnWilliam Waterhouse, Edgar Degas, Arthur Streeton and Ilya Repin- to name a few...
I started out painting in acrylics, have played with watercolor and now use oil, which is my favorite medium to use at this time.  

 ARTIST STATEMENT
I paint as a form of study, retrospect and wonder of God's gift- the story of life...Nature expresses God’s power... I am inspired by the beauty of colours in my surroundings, the endless themes of life experiences, and the rich history behind art and artists alike. The creative process of painting amazes me...its like traveling without moving!
